Text Messaging Service

We have a NHS text messaging service which allows the Practice to send out appointment and other reminders and gives you an option to cancel by reply.

Please inform the Practice if you change your mobile number so that we can ensure our records are kept up to date. If not, the Practice cannot be held responsible for messages sent to or received by the wrong person.

The practice number will appear as -  +447800008339

Travel Vaccinations

global air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to book a telephone consultation with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  Please speak to our reception staff who will arrange this for you.   This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

It is important to make this initial telephone consultation appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second clinic appointment may be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.  Vaccines have to be ordered.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Please be advised that, if you are travelling sooner than the required six weeks we will be unable to provide this service and will ask you to contact a Local Travel Clinic.
